Prior to Rapids commencement some years back our Albury Mill relied heavily on suppliers in Melbourne & Sydney for repairs & equipment supply covering everything from hydraulics/pneumatics to specialist mechanical drives such as Rexroth, Hugglunds etc. This translated to higher costs all round due to delays in response timing, higher city prices, increased risk due to equipment repair duration and or simply not having that local expertise for correct fault diagnosis.

Rapids team are highly skilled & capable, available 24/7, have a fully equipped workshop including many mobile workshops. Their experience and knowledge have proven itself time and time again in fast fault diagnosis & repairs. Add to this Rapids safety focus and you have a business that are very capable, pleasant and efficient to deal with and have certainly saved our mill many thousands of dollars since their inception.

Since outsourcing the installation of the hydraulic componentry of our four-leg press upgrade from 1700 ton to 2500 ton to the team from Rapid Hydraulic in 2O11, they have become an integral part of our maintenance program for both breakdown, servicing, and preventive maintenance programs.

Rapid's response to breakdown callouts 24/7 has always been a strong point to their service and having experienced and well-trained staff at fault finding and repairs has helped to keep production downtime to a minimum.

Rapid has also been able to have good contacts and service with their suppliers, which has helped when sourcing specialised critical spares and to offer more alternative options to help avoid supply times and specialised components.
