I have been in the Hydraulics industry for over 23 years. I did my apprenticeship with a local company called Phillips Hydraulics in the mid-80's.
When I finished my time I backpacked around the world for 3 years then upon return to Australia found work in the hospitality industry for approx 4 years. This experience gave me a great appreciation of what the service industry is all about.
This combination of quality customer service and extensive hydraulic experience is what makes our business so unique.

For the first ten years of full time employment, was spent working and being educated in the Automotive Mechanical Industry.
I picked up a lot of different skills and qualifications including automotive light vehicle mechanics.
I then had an opportunity to change direction into a customer service/sales role where I worked for eleven years in the automotive retail and wholesale divisions picking up valuable skills.
I then moved into the safety supply industry in numerous positions for thirteen years this opened me to even more knowledge and skills.
Most recently I spent 12 months back in and around my trade which I really enjoyed but soon found myself looking for a new challenge.
Eager to get back to what I enjoy the most customer service/sales.
The opportunity afforded to me at Rapid is exceeding my expectations with plenty of new and exciting things to learn from a well experienced and professional team.
As I become more familiar and knowledgeable in my role, I believe what I have to offer can only promote growth and an even more positive customer experiences.
